Ivar Slik

I am Ivar Slik, (May 27, 1993) and cycling has been my passion since I jumped on a bike as a child. After ten years on the road at the continental and pro-continental level, I have been a professional WILIER FACTORY GRAVEL RACER since 2022.

After my younger years when I combined road racing with mountainbiking, my cycling career really started with the best development team in the world at the time: Rabobank Continental Team. I had some good years with the team where I learned to know the cycling world and learned a lot both on and off the bike. After three years I signed with Team Roompot, a Dutch professional cycling team. Two great years followed, in which I rode famous classics like the Tour of Flanders. Experiences I will never forget. After my professional career at Team Roompot I rediscovered real pleasure in cycling with ABLOC Continental Team and and booked four UCI pro wins. Also fell in love again with off-road racing where it once all started. I really love to discover new hidden roads while training with friends on a bike that’s fit for purpose.

In 2022 I recorded victories at the Traka Gravel Girona and became the first non-American winner of the Unbound Gravel Emporia USA and extended my contract with Wilier for three years.
